🍪 Cookies Policy (the snack-sized version)

TL;DR: We use essential cookies to keep the shop working, and—only if you say yes—analytics/marketing cookies to understand visits and show relevant stuff. You’re the boss: toggle things on/off anytime.

What are cookies?

Tiny text files that your browser stores so our site remembers things like your cart, your login, and whether you said “no thanks” to cookies three seconds ago. Similar tech (pixels, tags, local/session storage) is grouped under “cookies” here because no one wants a 12-page sci-fi manual.

Who’s “we”?

This website is operated by IT-Breeze Ltd. (EU-based). Questions? info@vahldieckde

Cookie categories

1) Essential cookies — Always On

These keep the website alive and your cart intact. No consent needed (legitimate interest/GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
They help us:

  • Remember your cart and checkout choices
  • Keep you logged in and secure
  • Load pages reliably and quickly
  • Store your cookie preferences (ironically, with a cookie)

If you block these, the shop may behave like a goldfish on roller skates.

2) Analytics cookies — You choose

Used only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
They help us:

  • Count visitors and see which pages/features people actually use
  • Improve the site and squash bugs faster
  • Understand (anonymously/aggregated) what content is popular

We use privacy-friendly settings wherever possible (e.g., IP masking when supported).

3) Marketing/retargeting cookies — You choose

Also only with consent.
They help us:

  • Show you relevant offers (e.g., discounts on the plugin you viewed)
  • Limit repetitive ads (no one loves déjà vu ads)
  • Measure whether an ad actually worked

Saying “no” doesn’t reduce ads on the internet; it just means they won’t be tailored to you.

First-party vs third-party

  • First-party cookies are set by us (shop functions, preferences).
  • Third-party cookies may be set by services we integrate (analytics, payment providers, A/B tests, embedded content). Their policies apply too.

If you reject a category, we won’t load the tools in that category (so some embeds/features might be unavailable until you opt in).

Your controls (consent & changes)

  • On your first visit, you’ll see our cookie banner with simple choices: Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize.
  • You can change your mind anytime via “Cookie Settings” in the footer. We’ll respect your decision from that moment on.
  • We’ll also remember your choice (with—yes—an essential cookie).

Do Not Track: If your browser sends DNT, we treat it as a signal to disable non-essential cookies by default.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EEA/UK (e.g., USA). When that happens, we use safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional technical/organizational measures. If you enable Analytics/Marketing, you consent to those transfers where required.

How long do cookies live?

Depends on the cookie:

  • Session: deleted when you close the browser
  • Persistent: sticks around for a set time (e.g., 1 day, 1 month, 1 year) unless you delete it

Want a detailed list? Ping us and we’ll generate a cookie table tailored to your setup.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Helpful keywords: “clear cookies”, “site data”, “tracking protection”. Blocking essentials may break the shop (see roller-skate goldfish above).

Payments, licences & free downloads

  • Payment processors may set their own cookies to fight fraud and make checkout work.
  • Licence/updates don’t rely on marketing cookies.
  • Free downloads may use an essential cookie to remember that you’ve got access.

Updates to this policy

If we change anything meaningful (new tools, new cookie types), we’ll update this page and refresh the consent banner when needed.

Need details or a custom table?

Tell me which tools you use (e.g., “Stripe, PayPal, Google Analytics 4, Facebook Pixel, YouTube embeds”) and I’ll whip up a precise cookie table with names, purposes, providers, and lifetimes in the same fun tone.
